The road to Phillip Island has started for Method Motorsport, who are proud to announce they have locked in some very very talented drivers for the 2024 Monochrome GT4 Australian Series. After their outstanding performances at this years Bathurst 12 Hour, Tom Hayman and Marcos Flack are teaming up together and keen to get back behind the wheel of the McLaren Artura GT4 at this weekend's opening round at Phillip Island. Both drivers celebrated a podium finish in the GT4 category of the iconic endurance race in February after several impressive stints at Mount Panorama. The dynamic duo will contest in a "Full Silver" car over six rounds of the championship and will certainly be amongst the action.
"I'm very excited to be able to have this amazing opportunity to compete in the 2024 GT4 Championship with Method Motorsport. Also, the opportunity to be teaming up with Marcos Flack is surreal. I competed with the team in their debut at the Bathurst 12 Hour this year, and I loved every second of it. I can't wait to be able to hit the track this year and continue to build with the team and learn as much as I can. It's going to be a very exciting year for all involved" said Tom Hayman.
After Bathurst 12 Hour, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of the McLaren Artura GT4 with Method Motorsport. It was an opportunity I simply couldn't pass up. I am looking forward to working with Chaz again. His wealth of knowledge and experience is invaluable, and I'm eager to soak up everything he has to offer. Having someone I have admired for so long in my corner, guiding me to push my limits, is incredibly motivating and exciting.
Driving alongside Tom Hayman is going to be a blast. He showed his speed and skill in the Method Motorsports other car during the 12-Hour race. He was fast in the car at the start of the year, and a great guy. So being able to drive alongside him only adds to the experience. The whole team at Method is just a great bunch of people and I loved working with them at 12-hour, and I look forward to the pleasure of doing it for the whole year", said Marcos Flack.
"Its amazing to be announcing a full silver car in the Monochrome GT4 Australia Championships. As proven at Bathurst 12 Hour, everyone in our cars did a fantastic job, and all were blinding quick by the end of the weekend. Its incredible to see a program come together for Tom Hayman and Marcos Flack. And this is only possible with our amazing partners involved. So I would just like to say a huge thank you to Mobil 1, JGI, MW Waste, Di Prinzio Concreting, Polaris Marine Group, and Freight Asist Australia. We would not be on the grid without their support. Its going to be an exciting Round One with Method Motorsport supporting Shane Smollen Motorsport in Pro AM and Method Motorsport's McLaren Artura GT4 in Silver. We will be aiming for top honours in both", said Chaz Mostert.
The second McLaren is going to be piloted by one of the teams other Bathurst drivers, Jesse Bryan, who is teaming up with experienced driver Nathan Morcom.
Morcom said "I'm stoked to be teaming up with Method Motorsport. Not only to be getting behind the wheel of the new McLaren GT4 Artura, but also teaming up with a good mate of mine in Chaz. But this time, instead of co-drivers, he is the team boss. In the past, we have done heaps of racing together. And the best memory was winning the inaugural Bathurst 6 Hour in 2016. With a brand new team this year, which is exciting for myself and also Chaz to grow his passion for motorsport, yes it will be a new car for myself. But I am familiar with the McLaren brand, as I have previously raced the McLaren GT3 650s back in 2016 which brought great success throughout 2016, winning the Endurance Championship with Grant Denyer; and also runner up in the sprint series. McLaren build absolute beautiful machinery, so I/m chomping at the bit to jump behind the wheel and see what this new model is made of. I Can't wait for Round One to come, as Phillip Island is an amazing track for GT cars, with long sweeping corners and straights. Exciting for the times ahead and to be partnering up with Chaz".
Jesse said "I'm stoked to be joining the Method Motorsport team again in the #24 McLaren GT4 Artura off the back of the Bathurst 12 Hour. Ill be going back to not only the team, but a newly found family in a state of the art race car. I am ecstatic. Chaz, Guy, Aaron and Amy have formed a team with nothing but the upmost professional outfit.
Joining Nathan Morcom for the start of the Monochrome GT4 season opener at Phillip Island, I am sure we will have a strong start to the year, and hope to bring home another result for the team".

and passion aligns with the Porsche brand. This season he brings with him the latest Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport to the Method Motorsport racing stable.
Method Motorsport will be supporting Shane both on and off the track as part of their customer racing portfolio and hope to take him to another championship win this season sporting the number 1 on his car this year, he will be the man to catch.
It's exciting to be part of this exciting new chapter for Chaz and his partners. The desire to constantly improve is a key motivator for me and the opportunity to work closely with Chaz and an exceptional
engineering team was too good to pass up. It was a huge plus to also retain our championship winning on track support team from Autohaus Hamilton and of course Aaron Reed.
I have immense respect for Chaz's driving ability and positive attitude. He's the type of team owner you don't want to let down and I know there will be significant learning opportunities across
the season. I have to be at my best to defend this title given the quality of drivers committed to the 2024 championship and beyond so we will be doing what it takes to nail the one per centers race by race. We are yet to confirm a co driver and that will be the final piece of the puzzle.
Team owner Chaz Mostert said he was keen to work with Shane this season and have him as part of the team. I have seen Shane for a number of years around the race track racing in different categories. Shane’s passion and desire to win aligns with what we are trying to achieve at Method Motorsport. Having someone like Shane sign on with us is a dream come true.
Shane is coming in to some continuity with the team from his championship last year with Method Motorsport Team Manager, Aaron Reed which helped him on his path to victory last season.
We are excited to be shortly announcing who will engineering Shane for the 2024 campaign. We can confirm that this person bears a resume to withhold and will bolster the ranks at Method
Motorsport.

The road to Bathurst 12hour is now getting exciting for the team at Method Motorsport with the launch of the three drivers for the first of their McLaren GT4 Arturas. Car 25 is to be driven by Marcos Flack, Jesse Bryan and Chaz Mostert.
Marcos Flack comes with an array of racing experience having first started in karting at the age of 5, his natural talents have shone through which have led him to drive in multiple championships throughout Europe in formula 4 and British Formula 3. Whilst Marcos is young, he has a very clear direction for his future in motorsport, which is why he jumped at the opportunity to drive the brand new McLaren Artura GT4 at the Bathurst 12hour and is excited to race in a team environment with co-drivers in a prestigious international event.
Jesse Bryan also commenced his racing locally and has predominately raced European cars including Porshe's and BMW's, as well as travelling overseas to the Goodward Festival of Speed to compete in a Nissan R32GTR. Jesse's enthusiasm to get behind the wheel of the new McLaren GT4 Artura is something to behold and he is very keen to race at such a prestigious event.
The third driver Chaz Mostert needs no introduction and whilst other opportunities were available, he could not resist driving one of his new McLaren GT4 Artura's at the Bathurst 12hour.
Team principal Guy McEntyre stated "I am keen to see the diversity in age come together to share their expertise and give it their all at our first event of the season. The team put in a big effort last year and it is good to be now weeks away from going racing and see it all come together. The driver launch of our second car is next, then we pack the transporter and head to the mountain".
